THE CAPTAIN WHO LIVES FOREVER

The captain who lives forever is one who has learnt to leave a legacy and who is continuously remembered many years after he/she is no more.

In my own opinion, this person has cheated death and is immortal.

As I write this piece, one fictional character and superhero that readily comes to mind is Captain America.

Captain America fits this description as an entity that is still living forever.

As a child born in the 80s, I grew up reading Captain America’s comics.

My kids born in this millennia are watching movies of Captain America and I can bet that many years and centuries to come, people will still read comics, watch movies, buy toys and catch-up on Captain America.

Now stop for a moment and ask yourself a very sincere question:
What can I do to be a Captain who lives forever?
OR What can I do for me to be remembered like Captain America?

My response: Become a Superhero. Leave a legacy that outlives you.

One way to leave a legacy is by starting a movement that doesn’t end with you. 

It begins by using your gift to impact generations after you.

So stop worrying about dying. We will all die one day.

Rather start living, set long reaching goals and leave legacies for the generations unborn.

Stop stacking buildings, monetary treasures and cars for a generation that might never use them and might not even remember you when you are gone.
Rather leave a legacy.

One story that literally proves this point is a story about an African Chief who relinquished his wealth and everything he had to give his son western Education.

His son ensured that 5 of his children all got university education and some of his children pulled resources together to start an educational foundation that has empowered over 100 indigent students on the value of technology and education.

The goal of this family: To continuously educate and empower every generation to discover their gifting.

That is a superhero family and a family that their vision will certainly outlive them. 

That is a LEGACY THAT MONEY CAN NOT BUY.

So what are you waiting for!

Go sit with your family and craft legacies that will make you live forever.

I hereby dedicate this article to all those CAPTAIN WHO LIVES FOREVER and wish to inform you that we will spend the next few weeks talking about Captains who will forever.
