The Goal of Your Gift

People say that the goal of your gift is to make Profit for you and the World.

However, I believe that the goal of your gift is to leave a Legacy to the world.

So I ask you today: What is your legacy?

Everyman will only leave 4 things behind:
1.       Memories: Thoughts others have of you
2.       Souvenirs: Proof of our Existence
3.       Trophies: Records of our Achievements
4.       Legacies: Everything you Are

A legacy as defined by Merriam Webster is something (A gift) transmitted from a predecessor.

So your gift must impart the next generation.  

A typical example of a legacy is the Dafinone family that got into the Guinness Book of Records for the family with the highest number of Chartered Accounts  in the world.

Clearly the father left his children the gift of managing people’s finances and the family legacy still lives on.

Do you want to leave such a legacy on the sands of time?

Then start with the end in mind and keep working on your gift till it becomes a legacy.


And Always Remember, “the goal of your gift is to leave a legacy to the World.”
