SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE GO SMALL

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE GO SMALL

Welcome to the Maiden Edition of the Secret of Life Rhapsody

We wish to begin this string of articles by stating a key fact which is: Successful People Start Small.

There are many quotes that buttress this argument. We will review only two.

They Include: The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and KaiZen (Continuous Improvement) principle developed by the Japanese.

Let us start by reviewing the fact that before you take 1000 steps, you must take the first step.
I guess that is why successful companies like Microsoft started with a Quick and Dirty Operating System named Q-DOS and then they took small steps in making the operating system better.

Today, we have Windows 10 operating system which has gone through many small iterations but has become a matured successful product.

The Japanese understand that a small improvement applied regularly creates a robust and matured product in the future.

That is the reason why they invest so much in Kaizen, which basically encourages you to start small and improving slowly but efficiently.

Little wonder, why there are yearly evolutions of flashy Honda and Toyota cars lining the global Market.

Moral of the Story: To be Successful, Go Small, Start Small.
To read a book of 100 pages, start with the first page.
To write a book of 200 pages, write the first paragraph.
To travel round the world, travel within your continent.
To make a 10-step cake, start with the first.
